Future Hope Africa is an educational organization based in Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It brings about personal and community transformation through:•Education•Public school and college scholarships•Entrepreneurial training•Small business microloan financing•Youth services•Faith-based character developmentThe organization was founded by Nabintu (Bintu) Mujambere, a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It has expanded through an international partnership of Americans, Europeans and Africans. While many flee Africa never to return, Bintu chose to return to her native Bukavu and leave the safety of Belgium following a period of war and instability. The work of Future Hope Africa has provided desperately needed tutoring for children and funded scholarships for those without resources. FHA provides a variety of youth services oriented toward teaching life skills, faith and character.
