The Federation of Spanish Associations of Luxembourg was born at the end of the 70s to support the political, economical, social and cultural interests and needs of the Spanish people living in Luxembourg. \\The first Spanish associations of the Grand-duchy were established by economical and political emigrants who left Spain during dictatorship and economic stagnation. \\Since back then Luxembourg, as well as Spain, has changed a lot, but the principles and the mission of the FAEL haven't: the Federation remains a referent for the Spanish community (estimated of 7000 individuals in 2013) and for all those interested in the Spanish language and culture in Luxembourg.
