The Polytech Network has been created in 2002. Its main purpose is to get together the universitary polytechnics schools in a unique network. Nowadays, it is composed by 13 schools of which the student societies are booming. So, it seemed important for the Students Union to have a federation which allows to capitalise associative knowledges, to share experiences, to bring students' voices in the network and to create a cohesion which exceeds the unity of each school. That is why, in 2007, the Fédération des élèves du réseau Polytech (Polytech network students' federation) saw the light, having the goals of federating, forming, informing and representing all the students in the Polytech network.
