Construction - Leicester, England, United Kingdom
Over the years our management team have designed multiple working platforms for tradespeople to be able to work at heights on construction & house building sites. Our first system we designed and manufactured back in 2006 is still in the market today. In 2011 we had a vision to create a system that has multiple functions but used the same components, this is when we started to design our best system yet called G-DECK which launched in 2013 under LDS (Load Deck Systems) Hire & Sales Limited.G-DECK is a 'one system does all' solution for your building needs, we built it with muscle as it has a loading capacity of 5.9kN (600kg) per m2. It can be a trestle for low level build, it can be a crash deck/working platform for higher builds, it can also be a tower for very high builds, meaning you don't need to buy multiple systems for your builds, as G-DECK does it all. With options such as handrails for drop in/off zones, internal access points, multiple deck levels allowing tradespeople to work at different heights on the same build. stairs for easy access on and off, free standing as the legs can be cross braced, makes G-DECK the system of choice for many small & large building companies. In 2015 we launched our second system called G-DECK Lite, designed to give an alternative option to plastic systems that were now in the market. With our trademark metal decks and legs with a plastic outer but metal support within, we created a safer lightweight system with a loading of 2.0kN (200kg) per m2 for tradespeople who just needed a working platform that can be worked/walked on only. All of our systems have been certificated within British Standards and beyond. Both of our systems have been drop tested from heights and withheld. We can design and manufacture both systems bespoke to suit your needs if you have specific requirements.Training is offered with any of our systems where an LDS trainer will attend your site to demonstrate how to erect/dismantle safely.
