Gainesville Compost Details
Gainesville Compost is a bicycle-powered community composting operation and provider of garden products and services. We help restaurants, businesses, and home residents to reduce food and packaging waste and to recycle nutrients into soil-builders for urban agriculture. Our program has been emulated across the country and we have provided bicycle trailers, tools, and training to similar operations through our initiative known as BikeCompost. In January 2015, Gainesville Compost was featured for the second time in the nationally-circulated BioCycle Magazine in a story entitled, "The Business of Community Composting."
