Museums & Institutions - Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal
Galeria Miguel Nabinho began in 2000 as a pioneering project in Portugal. Its exhibitions took place in spaces chosen by the artists themselves, and thus meant the gallery space (which was not fixed) would be the most appropriate location for the works on show. In February 2003, we opened a space in Campo de Ourique, where we have held exhibitions and keep our depository of works for sale by all the artists we represent.By now Galeria Miguel Nabinho has established itself as one of the most prominent contemporary art galleries in Portugal. Representing some of the most important, influential and valuable Portuguese artists of the last 30 years, such as Cabrita, Ana Jotta, Luisa Cunha, Eduardo Batarda, Rui Sanches, etc…Its international exposure has also grown by being featured in international Art Fairs like Freize, ARCO Madrid and others. The success of Galeria Miguel Nabinho is due to the close relationship it has with its artists, allowing them the freedom and trust to constantly do their best work.
