Galería Nudo is a contemporary and modern art gallery in the heart of San Miguel de Allende representing national and international acclaimed Mexican artists. In 2016, we open our second gallery in San Miguel de Allende and introduce to the public for the first the personal collection of the late Romeo Tabuena (1921-2015) in a permanent exhibition.Founded by Alcides Fortes in San Miguel de Allende in 2008, Galería Nudo focuses on showcasing emerging and established artists. Until 2013 Galería Nudo showcased a permanent and exclusive exhibition of Oaxaca artist Alejandro Santiago's (1964-2013) work. Since then we have added numerous solo and group exhibitions featuring uprising and well-known artists. Some shows have subsequently travelled to museums. Galería Nudo specializes in showcasing the work of artists who reach beyond the boundaries of the mainstream, by means of focusing on different branches of contemporary and modern art. Serious and curious collectors are offered a unique opportunity to obtain investment pieces, while still remaining accessible to every art appreciator. Galería Nudo is free and open to the public.
