DITS is a contemporary art gallery based in the heart of Amsterdam's art district around the corner from the famous Rijksmuseum. The gallery has a global focus with a particular interest in artists working outside Europe and the USA. But we keep a close eye on local Dutch talents, too. The gallery hosts a vibrant exhibition programme, a number of talks, walks and other events throughout the year. DITS is always looking for new ways to curate, document and exhibit new performance and contemporary art at the gallery and on international art fairs. We are interested in presenting artists working with the human body, construction of identity, or real and virtual spaces and realities. The artworks focus as much on the experience of the spectator as on the intention of the creator. This happens both within and without the confinements of our gallery space.
