Previously called Manora, Gallery Manora has a history of being an eclectic retail store (2001 to 2003) which showcased unique, hand built ceramic functional ware, hand crafted designer furnishings exclusively designed by Manora and made from yarn to final form, by craftsmen all over India. It was a celebration of the classic and the contemporary, whilst maintaining the integrity of craft traditions of Indian antiquity. It also doubled up as an experimental ceramic studio equipped with a gas kiln developing ceramic glazes and running specialized ceramic art workshops. Today, Gallery Manora's excellent positioning on 100 feet road, Indra Nagar, the trendy new haute couture and fine dining precinct, will play a major role in developing a strong sense of Art appreciation and the importance of creative spaces in a busy urban landscape.Contemporary Art Exhibitions featuring talented, Indian and International artists to stimulate rich global cross-cultural conversations will be curated by Gallery Manora every year. Besides being an Art Exhibition Space, which can be hired by artists and galleries alike, Gallery Manora will be a creative space that will be hired out for carefully selected, boutique corporate events which value aesthetic integrity. Gallery Manora is an intimate 1300 sq. 130 running feet and 15 feet high display wall space, designed and built to be an open, well lit, exhibition space in warm neutral whites, quality lighting systems and adjustable hanging tracks for large format art, 17 feet high ceiling with heavy truss systems to suspend art installations. It flows out to an enchanting break out area, in the landscaped courtyard. The casual but elegant ambience with a contemporary chic, will be a space the most discerning arts enthusiast, creative and corporate event managers alike are looking for, set right in the midst of one of the busiest parts of Bengaluru.
