GES is Ireland's first ever Student Energy Summit. The event connects current and future leaders through discussion of important topics on energy, technology and innovation in Ireland. The event brings together students from all backgrounds to network with some of Ireland's most innovative companies. This is the ideal situation for students and other delegates to understand and become more knowledgeable of the work being done in the energy industry. Last year, GES took place in NUI Galway with an attendance of over 400 people and attracting 20 companies from various backgrounds. The attendance varied from students, political party members, academics and the general public.
