Gamer Gridz is the brainchild of Nathan Dennison from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. As a lifetime gamer Nathan has seen his fair share of problematic gaming systems, and he is finally getting around to doing something about these issues. First on the list of these issues, is the lack of representation for vertical movement in tabletop miniature games. Of course many rule systems allow for flight (or swimming) during combat, however simply placing tokens, or dice, beside a unit doesn't do game justice. Gamers don't spend hours finding/painting miniatures just to have to remember how high they are off the table; if your character can fly your miniature should be elevated to represent this!
