HistoryThe practice was established by Brian Gannon in September 1981 to provide a first class service to personal and corporate clients. Anthony Kirwan joined the practice in 1983 and the partnership was formed in 1988, Liam joined in 2006 and became a partner in 2010. The practice has been located at 85 Upper George's Street, Dun Laoghaire since 1988. The practice has experienced a steady and substantial growth since its formation and currently consists of three partners and seven staff members.PartnersBrian Gannon, FCA, AITI Brian qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1972 at the age 23. On qualification he joined the Fitzwilton Group and was later appointed finance director of a number of subsidiaries. Brian is married with two sons and one daughter.Anthony Kirwan, B.Sc.(Mgmt), FCCA Tony was awarded a B.Sc.Mgmt in 1981 from Trinity College, Dublin. He qualified as a Certified Accountant age 23 in 1983. Tony is married with two daughters.Liam Somerville, FCCA Liam joined the firm in May 2006 and previously spent nine years with BBT, Chartered Accountants based in Foxrock where he qualified as a certified accountant in 2000. He also spent one year as financial controller of a company in the leisure and retail sector. Liam is married with one son and two daughters.
