I design and create each piece in the Garden of Silver jewelry line in my art/jewelry studio on the north shore of Long Island, New York. My jewelry is created using both fine and sterling silver along with touches of gold and also the obscure Japanese alloy, shibuichi. I have an extensive organic garden that is both serene and stimulating. I find it peaceful to work in the garden and can be found outside among the flowers, vegetables, herbs and weeds with my sketchbook throughout the growing season. My drawings and paintings have always had a botanical theme which has evolved into the Garden of Silver jewelry line. Many of the jewelry pieces are created by hand carving into wax and then cast into sterling silver.
