Garden Route Trail offers a 62km slackpacking trail along the Garden Route coastline. It has grown to be the leader in enviro-education for guided multi-day hikes. It is a fully inclusive trail attracting both South African and international guests. A strong husband-wife team, we offer an all-inclusive environmental experience which we market, logistically co-ordinate, cater for, accommodate and guide our guests. My responsibilities included:• Managing logistics and back-up on the trail • Co-ordination of catering, supplies, transport and accommodation ACHIEVEMENTS: When I started helping Garden Route Trail in various aspects of the business, I identified many areas that would make for streamlining, procurement and better continuity of operations. I have been integral in seeing that these processes have been realized.
