Many companies and communities are working together on formal and informal arrangements that lead to improved relations, regular engagement and business opportunities. However, government owes a constitutional duty regarding consultation with Aboriginal peoples. GARJAW INC. Believes it is essential that the Canadian governments – (federal, provincial and territorial) – work towards effective regulatory procedures and policies that satisfy all affected parties, enhance competitiveness and clarify industry requirements for strong community engagement.
