Garrett Environmental Strategies is just me, Gary Scoggin. I'm an environmental and safety professional with over thirty-five years of experience in the energy and petrochemical industries. My specialty is helping people solve complex environmental business problems. Environmental business issues today are rarely simple. They often have elements of science and Technology, regulations, public policy, media, and community relations. I can help you manage the convergence of these elements. I've been doing it for years. I've dealt with issues at all levels of an organization: From sorting out things in operating plants to writing briefs to the Board of Directors of one of the largest companies in the world. I've discussed environmental issues with operators and craftsmen in the field, citizens and activists in the community, state and federal regulators, legislators and Members of Congress, and the Press. I've helped solve problems in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. The key to all of this is understanding the linkages between the different elements. I can work with you to break an issue down to its different aspects and then determine how those aspects fit together. From there we can develop a set of solutions.
