learningSkills is a Gateshead Council service that:- delivers education, skills and training across the North East- including Family Learning, English and Maths, Vocational Training, Alternative Education, Community Learning, 16-19 skills, education programmes for LDD, Advanced Learner Loans- engage local people in a truly lifelong learning experience.- engages with 11,000 learners (including1,800 children and young people)- delivers learning at a local level in over 100 venues and in over 400 employers.- offers a wide range of programmes from informal tasters to level 4 accredited programmes- deliver over 600 apprenticeships a year
