Gateway Regional High School is an academic community that fosters growth, respect, honor, and spirit. We strive to provide a safe and caring learning environment where students are encouraged to share responsibility for their learning and academic achievement. Our curriculum provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to become productive citizens in a global society.Alumni play an important role in supporting Gateway, whether they are from Blandford, Chester, Huntington, Middlefield, Montgomery, Russell, Worthington, or elsewhere. Those who still live in the hilltowns of Western Massachusetts are frequently seen at school concerts, athletic events, plays, and even annual town meetings to cheer, vote and voice their support for the high school and school district. Many parents of our current students are also alumni, as are youth sports coaches and other volunteers. We invite recent alumni to return for College Week—held annually on the day before Thanksgiving—to speak with current students about the college they are attending or the branch of the military they are serving in.Alumni are also growing supporters of the Gateway Education Foundation, which was established in 2011 to raise funding to expand educational opportunities for Gateway students.
