It works to expand and enrich the current music market by creating and increasing opportunities and competition.For events, collaborations and joint marketing, Gatwitch Records builds partnerships with local labels, particularly those concentrating on world music and hip hop. The company provides local artists with competitively priced, top-quality in-house CD design, printing and labeling. With a strong marketing team and established distribution channels, as well as a fundamental belief in the power of music to change lives, Gatwitch takes good care of the artists it works with.A conscious label, Gatwitch Records strives to raise money through music and put it back into the community. It works side by side with a UK-based nonprofit, GUA Africa, to build schools in South Sudan and sponsor children's education in the most deprived slum areas of Nairobi. A share of every product Gatwitch Records sells goes to one of the crucial projects in communities of our artists' origin and work.
