Inspired by Gandhian Vision of Gram Swaraj, Gayatri Seva sansthan (GSS) was established in year 1986 in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. GSS strongly believes that integration of efforts with multidimensional activities covering different sectors is likely to uplift the quality of individuals living in remote & deprived regions. Initially organization focus point was to promote education in remote & tribal areas. But spending 4-5 years in the area, we felt that Integrated & Multidimensional development in a sustainable manner is the only solution for main streaming of local community in this tribal area. continuing with this approach GSS is working in following 3 verticals :-1- Human and Institutional Development 2- Livelihood Enhancement 3- Natural Resource Management
