In 1915, Abraham Gazen came to Rhinebeck to be a Blacksmith and practice the ART of forging items out of metals, minerals, and other goods…On May 1, 2009, the new Gazen Gallery opened in Rhinebeck to celebrate today's Artists of Rhinebeck and the Hudson Valley. Gallery Mission StatementArt: A process or product created by deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the viewer's senses or emotions.We are dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts in Rhinebeck and the Hudson Valley. Specializing in Contemporary, Modern, and Abstract Art, the gallery features a broad collection of different works from local Hudson Valley Artists.Our goal is to display art that is enjoyable, entertaining, and affordable for everyone. Our changing set of works from a varying group of artists represents each artist's passion in the selected media as well as some of their newest and even experimental ideas in a variety of art forms. Our gallery is designed to inspire your imagination, stimulate your senses, and encourage you to interpret the world through the unique perspective of each artist.
