A battery management system (BMS) that increases battery capacity, extends cycle count, and decreases risk of thermal runaway. The SmartG(TM) BMS is a new way of controlling rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. -- No degradation Never experience loss in capacity again. A Li-ion battery powered by the SmartG(TM) BMS doesn’t degrade in capacity over time, and as a result has a 4x higher cycle life than when controlled by conventional methods. -- Increase in capacity When lithium-ion cells begin to be controlled by the SmartG(TM) BMS, their capacity increases between 10% – 40%. The increase in capacity depends on the specific type of li-ion cell chemistry that is used. -- Any li-ion cell The SmartG(TM) BMS works with any Li-ion cell type or form factor.
