GBID is an independent NFP whose role is to reinvigorate Gosford City. We do this through community events, placemaking projects and business development. We are funded through the special improvement levy incurred by commercial premises in a footprint in the Gosford CBD. Some of our signature events include: * Mad Hatter's Tea Party *Trick or Treat in Gosford City * Live From 5 *The Gosford City Christmas Parade *The Gosford Waterfront New Year's Eve Festival Some of our projects include: *The Packing House Mural on Mann Street * The street piano *The yarn bombed bike *Giant chess in Burns Park. We also have a membership base of businesses located within our footprint in the Gosford CBD. We provide them with support and information, along with regular meetings to network, and remain informed about all things Gosford CBD.
