Having experienced first hand the frustrating experience of having your cell phone run out of battery while at a bar or restaurant, Rico Garcia, Jason Caldwell, and Michael Campbell created the "ChargeCentre" and founded GCC Labs Ltd. during the summer of 2013. The trio were all participants of the Queen's Summer Innovation Institute, an educational business incubator through the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Queen's School of Business. Connectivity is the lifeblood of society today,and we are helping to keep people connected. The growth of smartphones has gradually incorporated more and more into a single all powerful device, but the one thing these devices can't get enough of is power!
