The Genomics for Climate Change Research Center (GCCRC) inherits the legacy of the Joint Unit Research Unit for Genomics Applied to Climate Change (UMIP GenClima), a joint venture established in 2012 between State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA).The GCCRC mission is to develop biotechnological solutions, using gene editing and plant associated microbiomes, to assure agriculture sustainabilto face the threat of World Climate Changes.
