As the knowledge and communication arm of Global Development Network (GDN), the GDNet program brings together and communicates policy-relevant research from the South and is a partner in the global drive to improve access, delivery and adoption of academic research. By convening opportunities, providing information and encouraging sharing and learning, GDNet is creating an enabling environment for southern researchers to communicate their work better and more widely.GDNet is a knowledge hub that brings together and communicates policy-relevant research from the Global South. It aims to be an internationally recognized focal point/ knowledge broker for development research to inform policy debate. GDNet is a partnership with regional networks and leading experts in the field. GDNet provides access to on-line journals and data, synthesizes and communicates Southern research, and strengthens research communications capacity.GDNet's activities are all been underpinned by the belief that good research leads to better policy-making and that policy processes concerning global development are better informed by outstanding research from the South. All GDNet consolidated efforts continue to promote southern research communications and uptake by strengthening research communications capacity, sharing knowledge and supporting learning.
