GDP is a geological consulting firm based in NW Italy, in the cities of Saint Christophe (legal residence) and Turin (head office). The management team is formed by a group of senior geologistrs with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of civil engineering, underground works and land management.Our core business is focused on i) civil engineering projects, from the feasibility to the design and construction phases, ii) risk assessment, e.g. during the tendering phase, iii) due diligence analyses on existing or planned civil works, power plants, etc., iv) hazard evaluations related to natural phenomena and their impact on human activities, v) reliability analyses applied to the geological/hydrogeological reference model.Special branches of our activity include:- asbestos hazard studies (related fields: structural geology, petrological, mineralogical and laboratory analyses, health and safety procedures, excavation techniques).- Hydrogeological numerical modelling (related fields: tracing tests, borehole data logging, hydrogeochemistry, thermal resources, geothermal systems design).- Remote sensing analyses (optical, multispectral, hyperspectral).- Advanced GIS modelling (2D, 3D).We usually operate in many different contexts, both in Italy and abroad, assuring high qualitative standards as well as a prompt response to our clients' requests, constantly aiming to find the best compromise between costs and effectiveness of each analyzed project.Our staff includes structural field geologists, stratigraphers, hydrogeologists, working site and underground excavation specialists, GIS and CAD engineers.
