Gelmag is an online art & culture magazine for emerging creatives to showcase their work.This magazine is designed to be an accessible, non-competitive platform which supports new artists and their growth. We have created this space so creatives can connect, collaborate, and come together for exciting new projects and inspirations.At Gelmag we have made it our mission to strip art back from commercialisation and create a fresh new space for it to exist. We wanted to create a slower-paced, exhibition-style platform which encourages genuine and prolonged artistic engagement. We wanted to shift the focus from perfectionism to creativism, to celebrate how extraordinary humans are in their everyday lives.Each quarter, Gelmag will release a themed issue which will exhibit a dynamic range of artistic work. These issues will explore the themes of life in nuanced and inventive ways. All mediums, from photography, to writing, to video, to sculpture, will be welcome here.In between these larger issues, Gelmag will be a dedicated spot for writers and artists from all walks of life to publish their own creative works.As we evolve we are committed to amplifying BIPOC voices and diversifying the art narrative.
