We are a traditional shipowning company based in Istanbul, founded in October 1997 for operation of chemical tankers. Founders of the company have generations of shipowning experience and are descendants of the Telli family, who are one of the first tanker owners among the Turkish shipowning community.The company was named after a small coastal town named "Gemiciler" along Turkish Black Sea in the city of Kastamonu. Founding partners hail from this town, which means "Seafarers" in Turkish, denoting company's roots in seafaring and shipowning. Ships are more than a money-making (or sometimes losing) asset to us; hence, our ships are either named after family members or places of significance to them.We are a major transporter of Alcohols, Glycols, Acetates, and Acrylates/Monomers within the Black Sea, serving mostly independent traders and distributors of chemicals. We have a long term focus and aim to maintain a long term and mutually profitable relationship not only with our clients, but also with our employees and suppliers. We provide a very competitive, and flexible service in terms of cargo size and loading/delivery window. All ancillary activities such as chartering, operations, crewing and technical management are carried out inhouse with our experienced staff, affording us cost competitiveness and operational reliability. Going forward, we aim to maintain our strong position in Black Sea while giving flexible and competitve service to our clients with younger ships.
