An idea to create a lab accessible by the general public to learn biotech and genetic sequencing techniques. The aim is to provide this service to students and people who are keen to learn new skills and explore the amazing world of biotechnology. The aim is to implement the lab by using open source hardware, software, and wetware allowing portability. Alongside public access, we also aim to teach biotechnology and the related science subjects through to BTEC science in state and publicly funded schools.
