Generation Foundation is a social enterprise founded in 2013 to create, deliver and support educational services focused on the development of healthy positive behaviours and key life skills for children, young people and disadvantaged adults. We believe passionately in education and sustainable growth as the foundation for positive futures and in sports and the arts as powerful tools for engaging participants, teaching skills, unlocking individual talent and promoting social interaction. Impacting progressive change for individuals, communities and societies in the UK and worldwide, our courses, workshops, events and initiatives assist in personal growth. Knowledge equips us to deal with challenges, enables opportunity, energises enterprise and manifests potential. When purposefully directed, an educated mind can bring positive change for the benefit of self and society and valuable contributions to the world.Working in support of educators, parents, carers, peers and other authority figures in children and young people's lives, we help lay solid and practical foundations for early life development. Learning is a lifelong process, not just a means of fostering the transition between childhood and work life. Our educational experiences also enable and empower young people and adults to choose knowledge, transcend barriers and push boundaries for personal fulfillment and achievement. We promote the gaining of knowledge from learning and the sharing of wisdom from living. Our work cultivates good role modeling and mutually supportive intergenerational relationships, facilitating the transfer of vital knowledge and life lessons between generations.
