Genesee Valley Conservancy Details

Founded in 1990, the Genesee Valley Conservancy is a nonprofit conservation organization devoted to the preservation of open space within the Genesee River watershed and adjacent agricultural areas. It is currently one of the largest land trusts in New York State in terms of acreage preserved. GVC is governed by a volunteer board of directors which is representative of the residents of the Genesee Valley. Several board members have placed conservation easements on their own properties.
