The Genesys Tech Hub was created to serve three main purposes:To serve as a hub of learning and innovation in the area of digital design, to serve as the nucleus of a community of talented individuals whose innovations will fuel a tech revolution- changing the way business is done in West Africa, and opening up a whole new sector of the economy to the sort of growth that will have far-reaching impact on the economy of our region, and to provide opportunities for startups in the tech industry to widen their horizons and and gain access to markets and resources that would otherwise be out of their reach.To this end, we have created three main divisions within the organization:•The Agora; a community of some of the best freelance software engineers in the region, our intellectual ghetto of sorts.•The Genesys internship program [Codename: ‘Learnable']; a six month software engineering boot-camp that introduces students in the sector to the real world of industrial digital design and software development.•The Genesys StartZone; our incubator for promising startups in the sector, providing them with the necessary support to grow and thrive in a competitive world.
