Genoa Instruments is a spin-off of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologiapioneering new technologies in the field of optical microscopy. After 10 years of academic research on new fluorescence microscopy techniques, detectors, image processing algorithms, Genoa Instrumentsaims to spread super-resolution live-cell imaging combined with time-resolved spectroscopy to all research laboratories.The company will develop and commercialize a new confocal microscope based on the Image Scanning Microscopy technique, which will allow to achieve both spatial and temporal super-resolution at the same time. Our innovative optical microscope will constitute a new paradigm inthe field of optical microscopy, potentially establishing as thenext generation confocal microscope.
