Hey there!I am Manon, founder of Genotypical, which is a small business that I run next to my full-time job as a scientist. I deliver both services and products. These are the four things that you should know:1) My services consist mostly of speaking jobs and trainings. My passion is to educate the broader public about the importance of nature and biodiversity, and the cool stuff we can learn from our DNA. Besides giving lectures and talks I also offer support with themes and activities surrounding science communication, education, consultancy, management & entertainment. Pick my brain at any time!2) My products consist of handmade jewellery - mostly earrings - that are inspired by nature and biology. Each item tells a unique story and I am happy that the pieces can be proudly worn by nature-lovers with an eye for fashion by local artists (over big companies)! All pieces are created with much care and love and can be bought in the Genotypical Etsy shop.4) Currently I am still working - behind the scenes - on optimizing a third aspect of my business, which will include an innovative combination of a product and service in one. But this is still a secret - more on that later!PS: As I care very much about a healthy environment and a future in which we can live in harmony with nature, ten percent of the profits of my business goes to good causes that aim to support nature conservation, habitat restoration, and/or the protection of endangered species.
