Gentoo Sailing Team is a UK based campaign striving to qualify, represent, and win a gold medal for Great Britain in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The team is competing in the Mixed Double Handed Offshore (one male, one female, offshore race lasting 60+ hours).Through our partnerships, we aim to use the campaign to grow brands and promote causes that we believe strongly in.Dee Caffari:The first woman to sail solo, non-stop around the world in both directions. She has since circumnavigated the globe 6 times and most recently skippered Turn the Tide on Plastic in the last edition of the Volvo Ocean Race.James Harayda:23 year old offshore sailor who has most recently competed in some of the largest offshore races including: the Sydney to Hobart, Caribbean 600, Fastnet Race, and Middle Sea Race.Accomplishments:- 2H National Championship (1st) (2020)- 2H European Championship (9th) (2020)- Dream-Cup (2nd) (2020)- JOG Final Wrap (2nd) (2020)- RORC 2H Series 2 (1st) (2020)- Royal Southern Charity Cup (3rd) (2020)
