Our Geotechnical Laboratory is equipped to carry out the full suite of tests specified in BS1377:1990 ‘Methods of Test for Soil for Civil Engineering Purposes'. we are also able to undertake testing of soils, rocks and aggregates in accordance with other recognised standards. The Laboratory provides a modern temperature controlled effective stress laboratory offering the standard range of drained or undrained triaxial effective stress and permeability tests together with many of the advanced tests now commonly being required.
