Geocensos is a latin american foundation originally created by a community of experts around census geoinformation. Currently, we are a multidisciplinary community that promotes innovative projects particularly in geospatial disciplines and in Earth Sciences. We also practice the implementation of data generated by geographic observation within solutions and applications such as geo e commerce, m-government, smart cities and geomarketing.We are an enthusiastic NGO with outreach and networks in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean. Geocensos aims its actions to many Spanish-speaking countries, making efforts of transfer of global technology to the solution of local problems in the territory. Our work is well known and recommended by many regional and global actors involved in the field of geo information and management of natural disasters. Some of our referrals are NASA, ESRI, Open Street Map and several humanitarian international organizations. Geocensos and its members have developed events and experience at the consultancy level in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Perú and Spain.
