The official page for the Environmental Society of PGDAV (M) College. We aim to foster transdisciplinary perspectives on interactions between human and natural systems with a view to sustaining communities so that we as a society meet the needs of the present without sacrificing the needs of the future. Critical issues facing our society today—from global warming to species extinction, water contamination to soil erosion—are environmental in nature. Finding solutions to these problems is our goal and will require interdisciplinary efforts that bridge traditional academic fields such as political science and ecology.Our mission: To stop the deterioration of the planet's natural environment and to build a future where people live in harmony with nature.
