GeoScale Details
About GeoScaleGeoScale has been a leading provider of applied physics solutions for advanced subsurface sensing and digital modeling to energy companies and energy technology companies. GeoScale is an innovator and trendsetter in predictive geophysics solutions for subsurface operations applicable to carbon dioxide sequestration, geothermal energy harvesting and pressure pumping for enhanced production . Headquartered in Houston, the company was founded in 2014 with the specific goal of conducting research into multiple sensing modalities including acoustic, electromagnetic, fiber optic, gravitational, subatomic and quantum as well as modeling subsurface behavior at different spatial and temporal scales. Initially started as a consulting service for the energy industry in Houston, with a technology transfer from an earlier entity Terra Nova Sciences LLC with related intellectual property and software, the recent focus of the company has been on geoengineering to enhance netzero energy production and to improve environmental health. Despite recent setbacks due to the pandemic, the company continues to evolve towards adopting advanced scientific methods for achieving its goals by partnering with other like minded entities including national research laboratories. The company is supported by an actively involved, best-in-class board of directors that includes successful energy technology entrepreneurs and executives.
