Our HistoryGeotech Company Limited was a family-owned company, that began operations in 1980 in Trinidad & Tobago as Geotech Associates. Founded by the late George H Looby, our professionalism and expertise, quickly made the company an industry leader in the field of geotechnical engineering.In 1984 the company opened an office in Antigua and expanded its services to include construction. In 2002 the Antigua office was incorporated and became Geotech Company Limited.Since then, Geotech Company Limited became an essential part of the Antigua community by providing innovative solutions for projects that have stood the test of time. Through a variety of engineering services, used the latest technologies at the time to improve the way clients, across various sectors, were served.Upon the untimely death of George Looby in December 2004, the Company went through several management changes, of which the senior manager sought their interest for themselves over the interests of the company. The Company never recovered from the 2008 Financial Crisis. In addition to long-standing internal and external issues, In addition the Company never received support from the local government failed to provide the proper infrastructure at its key location in addition to not pay the company the huge debt owed to it. Geotech Company ceased operations in December 2018. The page serves as a memorial to a Company whose existence changed the construction industry in Antigua and Barbuda forever.
