The United Downs project will involve:* Drilling and testing the deepest on shore wells in the UK. Each of the three wells required for the project will be 4.5kms deep* The development of a 10MW electric, 55MW thermal geothermal power plant* The development of a geothermal centre of excellence in conjunction with Exeter University
