Reading the manuals so you don't have to....Get Going Solutions started as a part time hobby. I had managed the IT for a small company for over 10 years, made lots of mistakes and solved lots of problems. Mostly from spouting off about the things that interested me I had picked up the odd side job -- helping out with a website, connecting a user or machine to a network, solving a network problem, performing data recovery on a failing hard drive. As those jobs became more frequent it occurred to me that I might like to do more of them and get paid for the service. Google Apps became the real impetus leading me to take the first step to Get Going. I had converted D. White & Co. to Google Apps back in 2007, which probably qualified the company as an early adopter. The service worked so well, and I had put in so much time figuring out the kinks that I reckoned, "this is knowledge that I should share." A few conversions later, I realized I had already started and wanted to continue to help other to get going - hence the name, Get Going Solutions.
