GezondheidsNet was the first online consumer health portal in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1998 as part of Presspartners B.V. and is located in Baarn, the Netherlands. The online consumer health portal has been growing ever since and, today, has roughly 400,000 visitors a month and over 40,000 subscribers to its weekly health newsletter. On the site visitors can find news items relating to health & wellbeing, a complete medical encyclopedia, tests, articles and specials. The homepage is divided into the following tabs: medical, mind, nutrition, looks, exercising and relationships. We see it as our mission to educate consumers on the area of health information and related subjects.
