The Ghana Academy of Muslim Professionals (GAMP) formerly Ghana Muslim Academy (GMA) is a non-governmental organization of Muslim intellectuals and professionals who are generally graduates of tertiary institutions and are prepared to make sacrifices to the cause of Islam and national development.It was formed in November 1992, and officially inaugurated on 5th February, 1994 as Ghana Muslim Academy (GMA). The current name, Ghana Academy of Muslim Professionals (GAMP) was adopted by the General Assembly on 26th December, 2017 at an annual general meeting of the organization. The headquarters of the organization is in Accra, the capital of Ghana.Since its inauguration, the organization has been very active and has not been derailed from its original mission. In fact, it has grown from strength to strength. Our Mission is to promote education in the Ghanaian society, especially in deprived communities; and to foster and promote unity among Muslims in Ghana and the world at large by organizing programs aimed at empowering the youth intellectually, socially and morally.
