The Gilchrist Institute for the Achievement Sciences was founded in 1984 by Dr. Robert J. Flower as a means for expanding awareness and concepts, as well as taking action based upon fact. It represents an exercise in mind sciences and developing ones' potential through understanding. The institute has enjoyed numerous leaders as directors and supporters over the years, such as: Alan Johnson, CEO of Gimbels, Macys and the Bantus Group, Terry Anderson, longest held hostage in western history and American hero Nick Marano, past president of Progresso Foods and Psychologist, Dr. Les Fehmi, world bio feedback authority.
