We tackle the gender gap in chess head on, through an approach that focuses on helping girls discover and develop their inherent strengths. Along the way, we nurture a foundation of skills that positively contribute to their personal development and alter the course of their lives. Because when girls recognize their true power, they grow up to be girl bosses that change the world.What We DoResearch shows that girls have the potential to outperform boys in almost every educational achievement metric. But when girls enter a learning environment with boys, they are far less likely to voice their thoughts and opinions. At Girl Boss Chess, we understand the feelings of self-doubt, anxiousness, and insecurity that can stop girls from achieving their full potential and experience first-hand how the intellectual benefits of chess work to counteract these challenges. Online chess classes teach girls to calculate risk, learn from their mistakes, focus on the task at hand, and prepare for the unexpected – all of which boost confidence and prepare your child for adulthood. Our curriculum is taught to adult women and girls aged 4-12 by women chess professionals. We focus on developing yours or your child's strengths, as well as having loads of fun!
