Girl Up Canada is a 100% youth led non-profit network of over 100 national volunteers working towards intersectional gender equity and justice. We work with local NGOs and volunteers to execute meaningful solutions to social and political issues present in our communities.We passionately believe in education as an essential right, and critical agent of change. Our work involves advocating for access to education for girls in places where it is hardest to be a girl. Our advocacy efforts focus on cultivating civic discourse among youth in Canada to encourage responsible politics in partnership with Oh No Canada, a national advocacy network.Girl Up Canada maintains its impact in Canada through club chapters in schools and on-campus spanning over 5 provinces.
