Girls Got Game is a non-profit organization that believes in empowering young women through sports. Founded in Manila, Philippines and run by passionate athletes, GGG conducts two-day sports camps that aim to equip pre-teen girls with an athlete's mind and body to help them rise out of their current situations. GGG advocates for all sports that instill valuable life lessons such as discipline, hard work, teamwork, confidence, and grit. For the early cycles of GGG, we focus on four team sports– basketball, football/soccer, volleyball, and rugby. During the camp, athletes are trained physically with skills and drills per sport, followed by a friendly scrimmage. They are also surrounded by powerful female role models who share personal stories about their own experiences with sports. Ultimately, our vision is to empower young Filipinas with important life lessons through sports.
