Girls in Tech is a global non-profit that works to put an end to gender inequality in high-tech industries and startups. Headquartered in San Francisco, Adriana Gascoigne founded Girls in Tech in 2007. The Girls in Tech global community is 47 chapters strong with an impact of more than 62,000 members in 33 countries.The Phoenix chapter of Girls in Tech was started by Rebecca Clyde and Melissa Drake in 2017. As the Phoenix arm of Girls in Tech, we aim to empower girls and women in tech and entrepreneurship from the classroom to the boardroom. We put on innovative events, hackathons, scholarships and programming for anyone with an interest in tech, startups and providing women with a platform for growth.It's our mission to support women with the access and community they need to succeed in tech and entrepreneurship.
